The Maf Club Tournament opened with a bang on July 12, 2012 and ended in a grand finale on the eve of July 14, 2012. The first games went off without a hitch or a snitch, and spectators crowded around television screens in the viewing room. Guests arrived in style and graced a red carpet for their photo opportunities.
After an intense three days of Mafia wars, the tournament’s top ten players got made and were awarded $30,000. Maf Club is pleased to announce the winning red team consisting of Armen Apoyan, Edgar Khachatryan, Vighen Mkrtoumian, Dina Petrosyan, Hayk Tokhatyan, Mariam Bakunts and Asim Rustamov. The black team included Rick Lax, Mihran Gharibjanyan and Gevorg Hovsepyan.
Situated next to the Mob Experience Mafia Museum, four games were simultaneously played, starting up every 15 minutes, in Russian, Armenian and English. Maf players and spectators had a private bar with specialty drinks only available at the tournament.
Players in the top 10 were guaranteed cash prize winners. The winning team walked away with $3,500 each, and the losing players $1,500. Not a bad deal for Vegas.
